Tunisia "Tee Tee Solo" Solomon
is an innovative, passionate, singer, songwriter and musician. Her cultural blend of genres stems from her love for various forms of musical expression.
"Storytelling through Reggae, dancing to Latin or Afro rhythms, playing my steel pan to Calypso, scatting to Jazz, singing my original songs of joy, peace, freedom, love, of anything that makes people feel good,
is what I want to do." -Tee Tee Solo
Performing with her family band, Steel Impressions Steelband, at an early age Tee Tee Solo found her voice through music. Ever since, she has developed her style, taking all of her musical experiences and mending them into a vibrant, powerful, light-filled musical force, featuring the melodic instrument the steel pan.

Tee Tee Solo’s original music showcases her vocal skills and talent on the tenor steel pan. Her music continues the educational process of highlighting the steel pan by incorporating this rare and melodic instrument in all of her music. She is continuously working toward her mission of bringing steel pan into mainstream music.
Tee Tee Solo classifies her sound as world music. Her tropical sound is influenced by her Caribbean/African heritage blended with hints of other musical styles. Inspired by her travels to Hawaii, her debut single "Sometimes I Miss You" reflects desiring to share life's beauty with ones soulmate. One of her recent singles, "Bi Di Di,” is an infectious, fun Dancehall song with a melody that inspires audience participation. Her Pop song, “I'm Alive” has an upbeat feel good vibe with a message of overcoming life's challenges and finding joy in the process.
Tee Tee Solo also has a passion for helping her community, especially those who are food insecure. In volunteering at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Food Pantry for nearly five years, she grew to understand the impact and change she and her team could evoke. Each year they provided food for more families, especially the elderly those with young children.
This urged her to want to do more.
For the past two summers, she headlined in her 'One Love' concert series in which she held food drives across Long Island, raising over 700 lbs of non-perishables goods. These food items are distributed through Long Island Cares to many families.
